Splitting
The first value-added step is splitting. We split approx. 6 meter long bar steel (dimensions: 180*12, 150*10, 130*8; main material: 1.4116), turning it into a split piece in which the contour of the end product can already be seen.
Splitting is a cold forming process. It is crucial that the weight, shape and dimensions of the split piece are correct and that there is as little waste as possible.
